From Idea to Innovation
Founded by Chris and Marco, HyperCarbonLab started with a bold vision: to make continuous carbon fiber 3D printing accessible to makers, engineers, and businesses. What began as experiments in a small workshop has grown into a project aiming to deliver industrial-grade strength directly from a desktop 3D printer.
The road hasn’t been easy — developing a new filament and the hotend to process it requires constant testing, iteration, and innovation. But our passion for pushing the limits of additive manufacturing keeps driving us forward.
We’re building not just a product, but a community of creators who want stronger, lighter, and more functional parts straight off their printers.
How We Evolved
Founded by Chris and Marco, HyperCarbonLab grew from a shared passion for advanced manufacturing and material science. Both of us studied at ITS Academy Udine, Italy, graduating in Automation and Mechatronical Systems with top marks.
We are certified by Bureau Veritas in both SLM (Selective Laser Melting) and FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) technologies.
HyperCarbonLab started as experiments in a small workshop, aiming to make continuous carbon fiber 3D printing accessible to makers, engineers, and businesses. Today, our focus remains on developing both the specialized polymer and the hotend required to bring industrial-grade durability and precision to desktop 3D printing.
